During the last week when there was no wind Lena and I have been visiting the abandoned mining town of Kolmanskop (Ghost Town) just on the edge of Luderitz, here's a few photos from this great location.

Lena is quite shy so we removed this image after posting. There's some more that are so stunning but Lena isn't ready for them to be seen yet.
fantastic photo's, Africa is an amazing country ive just come back from Burkina Faso. Wish i could take photo's like that.
Hi Col, ...not tempted to borrow Anders gear and show him how it should be done ![]()
It looks like you are having a great time there and the photos are really nice (and not just the ones of Lena). I loved the blue boat.
How long are you staying in Namibia? Until the end of the comp?
I borrowed Lena's gear 3 days ago, did 2 runs and couldn't get the smile off my face, was still smiling the next day. Gave Lena my camera and she took dozens of sick photos of my runs so good allround.
Sad day yesterday though as started my journey home, currently in Windhoek, Namibia for the night, off to South Africa then home tomorrow
Had one of the best adventures, met heaps of great people and made some special friends plus sailed the canal - what can I say!

Was it Lena or her gear that gave you the smile?
Definitely worth the trip to get those photos. Great lighting. I am impressed with how fast she sails considering how light she is. Didn't realise before how pretty she is.
