I was wondering if anyone out there would have a mast tucked away in there shead that would suit this sail and would like to let it go to a good home

Sail is old but brand new

Retro Style

Thanks nudie

Wow !
Those specs are awesome
Ive never seen a mast with those specs window .
Probably owned one of those .
I have to crap on some more if I may ..........
So I'm thinking Imcs 25 is the key ?
Kinda doesn't matter if it glass , carbon or aluminium .
Its a bend curve , mast pocket thing ?
Top setting , 10 cm , What is that ?

That sail should be in a museum!l would of thought any Pryde flextop smaller mast would do the job.

I am assuming "the top seting " is to do with the adjustable head. Paper tag's was disintegrated so I can't see any of details that were on it

Kind of like rigging in reverse .
Go larger in mast , and poke the rest through the top of the sail .?
Obviously before mast extensions were invented ?
I was there while all this happened , but can't remember .
It must have been unnoticeable to have a 25 cm pulley to pulley gap ?

Wait til Decepit sees its a Carbon 60! He rates them highly. Made by Kilwell.
Theyre a slightly smaller diameter mast (46mm). Apparently strong as. I have a Carbon 60 460 in my retro kit collection. Nice light strong ONE PIECE mast.
I remember strappin those one piece masts to my first car roofracks. Cruisin down the road thinking " Yeah im a sailboarder. LOOK OUT"

Keep your eye out on seabreeze or gumtree or even facebook marketplace. The right masts come up all the time. I sold an NP Carbon 60 460 one piece in Sydney 3 years ago for $100. It was as new and weighed 1.75 kg.(see photo). You can probably expect to pay $100 for a Fiberspar, Exel, Dynafiber or NP 460 Carbon 25 , 40 or 60 SDM two piece in good condition. Probably any constant curve SDM 430 or 460 will be fine even a 430 cm SDM mast you just need an extension. You will need to make sure the top fits the NP headpiece as sometimes some masts don't have the right top insert. Good luck.

I just noted there is a two piece Neil Pryde 430 Race Carbon 60 SDM 60% carbon gc $200 for sale in NSW see: www.seabreeze.com.au/Classifieds/Windsurfing-Accessories/~lv2fr/Neil-Pryde-Masts-2X430-Rdm-Sdm.aspx?_page=3&search=kUAz4ywlWw9x4uvKNrfOmw%3D%3D

I used a c60 once followed by a big swim without a NP World Cup racing 5.0. Took about 6 yrs off after that.

Nup, the matrix 5s where carbon 70s, a carbon 60 would be a standard diam.

Mast it should read 460cm in lengt, some will stick out the head.
or it should read 430cm with 20-24cm of mast extension.

all other considerations consider secondary. It's olde. Performance unlikely to improve with a dedicated mast, ie NP.

Don't know any Greek concreters! The good ones are Portuguese or Italians.

But we had a good Greek account, he is learning alot around steel fixing !!
Truth be said He is actually trying to find away to break free now and getting more educated in the process

Love you Fezz

Nice numbers Captain Fezz
