Nice pics Pete!!
Got out late too, probably about 12-15 knots and gusty as.
Still as you say it was good to get out for this time of the year.

Great pictures Peter and good to meet you the other weekend. According to the Moon Man we can expect a shortish wet and cold autumn leading into a long wet and cold winter, so these pictures from April will be a fond memory.

Is that Port Botany with the hills at LaPerouse at the back?

I don't think it's the Airport strip, I don't think it's Kurnell at the back??

Just curious mate,
P.

Yep. Looking east from Kyeemagh, over runway to Port & LaPerouse.
It's about 1.5 km across to runway

did you really have to rub it in?

Spent the afternoon at St George hospital with my 10 year old daughter waiting for the results of a wrist X-ray. 2 1/2 hours later they tell us "Come back in 2 days and we'll tell you if it's broken. There's no-one here at the moment who can read the X-ray.

What ? Emergency Department at major Sydney hosipital does not have a doctor in it that can read an X-ray?

Talk to your local state MP and see what they and Reba Maher have to say about.

Whats today like on the waters of Sydney? I am stuck in my underground work bunker.

If you don't want to be upset, stop reading now...

Like all westerlies extremely gusty, but the gusts were long so it was good. I was overpowered with a 7.5m many times and I had to dump myself with the rig to windward a couple of times to avoid big catapults. I eventually left after 2 1/2 hours as I was too tired to competently continue. For me, the best day this year.

Thats a good sign. According to the Moon Man we can expect a cooler and wetter winter than normal. This will be because of southerly and westerlies coming through.

Yesterday was a good day. Pretty windy and most guys on wave gear and 5 to 5.8.
As usual it was gusty but once it swung more to the SW it got heaps better. Sailed on wave gear for a couple of hours and then switched to slalom gear for some speed runs. Not cold in the water either and nice and sunny.
A top day so I hope we get some more!!!!!!!!
