Winter is coming everywhere but in Panama. Here is hot and the wind just started. We have 15-20 knots every day morning and afternoon. Good time for sailing in Laser Bahia with the partner or Windsurfing with 6.5 meters and a 125L
The Archipi??lago Las Perlas is situated 30 miles South from Panama and you can be there just 2 hours by Ferry. I went during 7 days and I want to invite anybody to come with me again and share costs.

The Sailing School is called Sailing Club Panama and you can find them in Isla Saboga and Isla Contadora which are side by side.

Hope to see you there!

Last time I went to Panama, the ocean was like glass. When is the windy season?

Do you have a photo of this area? Do you have to get there by ferry, or can you drive there?

Are there any hire shops there?

Hi FormulaNova! The water now it's really cold because of the plancton. But yesterday I was windsurfing (7.5 and 140L) wearing just t-shirt and shorts. No wetsuits, no heavy clothes! Windy season starts from December until March. Every day in the afternoon it picks up around 20 knots.

You have to come here by ferry: look for Ferry Las Perlas or Sea Las Perlas. It takes around 90 minutes to arrive in the Islands.
There is just a Sailing School in Contadora where you can rent sailing boats or windsurf. The price ranges between 40 and 60$ per hour and they have all sizes of boards and sails. Just ask them what you need.

I put some photos of the area. It is a shame nobody could take photos of me windsurfing. I just have that one from the Bahia, but it is really far. Maybe next time.

Take care.

JJ
