Hello all. Am getting back into windsurfing again and am spending the weekend at Lake Tuggerah. Any suggestions where to start my rediscovery journey? Am staying at the Southend, chittaway point. Any suggestions greatly appreciated
A weed fin is needed. If the forecast southerly comes through on Sunday Canton Beach should be a good spot for windsurfing. If the NE comes through on Saturday there will be a lot of windsurfers on the next lake up, Budgewoi. They will probably launch from Peel Street.
Both spots are good for starting out again as they are fairly shallow though the depth depends on how far out you sail. A weed fin is needed at both spots to have a good windsurfing session.
