Thumbs Up

Some questions asked in the other LG thread about this spot north of Canberra.

Great place to sail (when there is enough water) - consistent wind and a constant depth of 1.2 metres - after a bit of a walk to get to fin depth. But you do need to jump fences every 2-3 kms.

The last time it was sailed was early 2017 when the Canberra guys made a number of visits -the very last of which was the ill fated Anzac Day Mass Bogging.

Prior to 2017, I understand it hadn't been windsurfed since 1993 - I hope I get another chance to sail there.

I never found the 1.2 metres - I don't know if I ever got the One Design's centreboard all the way down. But it's an amazing place to sail since it's so utterly unlike anywhere else around (in my experience, anyway).

I got a One Design riding on the fin like a slalom board, RB or LT one day there because the wind was so steady and the water so flat - I've never done that anywhere else.
