Has anyone sailed at Lake Connewarre lately ? Any comments on best spots, water quality/depth/weed etc?
It looks as though the southern end of Brinsmead Lane might be ok in a Southerly ?
Thanks in advance

Unfortunately the last part of the road at Brinsmeads lane has been washed away, not too bad a walk down the hill though. There isn't much weed at the moment it seems to have had a flush out. Can be a fun place to blast about on , best with a weed fin about waist deep for most of the lake. Bottom is muddy for the most part but there are a couple of shallower Sandy areas.

Been a popular windsurfing spot on a southerly for a long time. Looks like the rain has given it a good flush. Not that often you get a sandy beach launch spot, it's normally weedy and smelly. I'll return back my self after seeing the photos. Might even be deep enough in the middle to give the foil a run.
