JP magic ride or super ride?

Advice for free ride board please.

I'm a good wave sailor but want to buy a JP free ride board to use with a 6.5 sail for a work out when the wind's marginal. Haven't ever owned one before. (Don't want a bigger sail)

I want to cruise long distances but be able to practice tacks, upwind & down wind 360s, back to sail, duck gybes and get the occasional floaty jump. It's likely I'll be sailing through small on shore waves.

Looking at 2019 Magic 112L wider 75 or Super 132L faster more volume but slightly narrower 73. Both Pro series.

Which would you go for? Any owners out there who have a favourite board?

If you want something for freeriding plus a few tricks and jumps I would consider a large JP FSW if you want to stick to that brand. I think their largest is something like 110-115l and 65cm wide which is fine for a 6.5m (assuming you are medium weight).
A Magic Ride 112L 75 cm or Super Ride 132L with a 6.5m wont feel balanced. For an intermediate as a 1st time shortboard it would be fine, but if you are a good wave sailor the board will feel massive, particularly for small onshore waves. As soon as the wind picks up slightly that width will get out of control earlier. I've seen a few people go for a larger board for a 6.5m (or even 7.5m with an 85cm wide board) thinking the extra width will be useful but it ends up being a hindrance.
I've used a 6.5m Ezzy Lion 2 cam on my Exocet Cross Carbon 94l 60.5cm wide. Its fine powered up but a bit tricky if I have to pump to get planing. If I wanted a board for 6.5m onshore freeriding plus a few tricks I'd get the 104l 64cm wide board, perhaps consider the 116/68cm. I'm 78-80kg. The JP FSW is a more freeridey FSW these days compared to others, similar to the Exocet Cross although the Cross doesnt have thrusters as its more freeride than FSW.

But to answer your question, I'd say if it were more for long distance cruising go for a SuperRide, but a smaller one. 116l/68cm I think it is as the largest one I would choose, I think they do a SR smaller than that, 102/62. I've sailed a 118 MagicRide and found the deck a bit flat for comfort for blasting, although that would be better for tricks.

Not trying to hijack this thread, but how about a foil board.

Freeride foiling is kind of like fake wave sailing, but without waves and needs less wind

Thanks for all the input so far and for the time to respond.Not exactly sure how to reply to each post. I may rethink these sizes and go something slightly smaller. Good points made. Sorry, not interested in foiling. Too many other options, surf, bike etc. I weigh 88kg.
