Took some (hopefully) really good shots at the Funnel last night and there was waves, yes they were small, that's all we get there. Small compared to WA sure but still lots of fun. A certain person told me he didn't want any shots of him posted and when I asked why he said the memory is better. Because the waves always look smaller. I thought it was the skill of the windsurfer which was the important thing to worry about. Does anyone else feel the same as him. Because if so, I won't post any more photos.
nothing worse than thinking you smacked a lip at sholder high, then someone shows you a photo and it was knee high...![]()
Better to have smacked a lip... any lip regardless of size than to have smacked none at all we say![]()
Plus photos provide the ability to look at what you are doing and to fine tune the process or simply improve no matter the size.
Go on post the shots !
WindWarrior
I thought everyone would be happy cause you always take nice piccies susie - except for the ones of me my plodding along with my gooby hat on and beer gut hanging out - in the background of someone doing a radical reo or jump!
Keep them coming!
I think it's the size of the rooster tail that counts more than the size of the wave.
Unless it's a jump of course.
Like your Photos .....especially the ones with the Selicks hills in the background with crew smacken it........ok KNEE High.....but its hell offshore which increases the power of a wave ........I rememember flying down the line there for over 100m.
PS Good to see the windsurf photos power past the poxie kite ones.![]()
post the shots,,,just take a shot of memory man down the beach looking back into the break side on,that'll show size,he'd be happy with that,!?.........................keep up the good work
hi susie will you marry me , just kidding , have you got a polarized lens cover for your camera it helps in those sun in face photos , and richens the colour that the sun takes out regards bazz
A little bigger than knee high....I think its Craig..
Yes dear Monster I do. No, not marry you. But thanks for the offer. I do use a polarising Filter. But I think I altered the levels too much. I should have left them as they were. Its hard to tell on my laptop and its only when I load them up on the "normal" computer that I can see I've overdone it. Lucky I always save the originals.![]()
OK THIGH HIGH AND ssssssOFT
