Is it possible to sail with one hand? This is what i tried with my windskate. Check this video to have an idea!

It's all about fun. I wish you only fun, fun and fun. No more trouble.

Cheers!

Yes, but climbing the ladder takes a really long time.
A guy around here, about 170 lbs., got good enough to consistently jibe a 100 liter board and sail some days without falling.

Wow! Nice. A strong man. If I am not wrong, a guy from the Gorge, Oregon, USA, was also riding with one arm only. That is many years ago.

Thanks! I have to say that windskating is not as hard as windsurfing, so riding with one hand with on a skate it's like drinking beer, it's easy! For those guys who did the same on the water, I can only say Big Respect and Bravo! : )

I'm sure there is already a word for doing it one handed, anyone know what it might be?

Sure but

Impressive wind skate skills tried it but not more than 50%

Windsurf needs significantly stronger force with board drag so only "one hand" stared flat water letting one hand off the boom for short time but later the jumping one handed doing rail grab or shaka to your mates.
Never that confident to try one handed forwards

In the mid '90's, we led Rick....right arm only...down to sail Palo Marin, a side off wave spot requiring a km hike along a narrow spine and down 200 meters cliff face.
He carried all his gear, maybe 55 lbs., Screamer 1, sail, mast, boom, wetsuit, all his own stuff...sailed shoulder high waves...packed up and carried it all out by himself.
Tough dude, good sailor.

Wow nice stuff! The kid is hot! Cool to try new things. There is nothing like playing outside.

There was a bloke who posted on rec.windsurfing who sailed with one leg, well one real one and a stump like a pirate.
