Wanted to get a quote from Ego and couldn't find them online .

"EGO" was the staff photographer at Freesail. Here is a shot he took in 1985 of Mike Galvin at Lancelin on the Duracell sail by what appears to be Elvstrom Sails. I can't say whether or not EGO is still around. Who was EGO anyway ?
it seems nothing but trouble from them
Lots of reviews about can't contact them when there's any issue.
Smartsend seems to be the go now. I've just changed to them from my business account with a courier as its cheaper!!

Forget what you've heard.
I'd never used Ego, Ever. But unbeknown to me l've now used their service, via Board Crazy Qld & items delivered by Santa himself to East Gippsland Victoria.
Could not believe how quickly the items arrived considering postal delivery delays, etc, etc...so close to Christmas, not expecting this until following week or after New Year.
Left B.C. store, Qld, Monday 20th arrived Friday morning 24th.
This was via Ego, Hunter Express & our local courier here in East Gippsland who finally rang me saying he's got a delivery for me.
Took 2 weeks to receive some other items from Cranbourne to Bairnsdale within Victoria.
Go figure that was 3 weeks ago.
Quicker from Qld to Victoria than locally delivered items within our State.
Rate Ego Hunter Express: All very positive and highly recommended.
Now gotta wait for some Seabreeze's to kick in for a run on the new gear, which is all Naish gear including the new 2022 Naish Sprint S26 7.1, Naish100c 460 SDM mast, Naish 30cm mast extension & base & Naish 160-210 boom.
Simon has been very helpful and easy to get the goods delivered in a more than exceptional time frame.

I think I met Rob at the 1987 Mackay to Airlie Windsurfing Marathon. He took photos of the fleet in a race at Brampton Island.
