Hi all, only just starting out but scored myself a JP Fusnter 180. As the next step, what is a good all round board to progress to? JP X-cite? All ride? Ultimately i see my self wave riding. Any tips?

A few details about you will help gain advice here - weight, surfing/sailing history, budget, age/height (not as important) and amount of w/surfing you plan on doing.
The funster is a good starter, and you'll probably have a ball on it. The Xcite is a good allrounder, and if you get your feet on the funster, I'd be looking at about a 120-130lt Xcite (or similar) board from there. From there, the JP freestyle wave would be a good wave board, but it's probably too big of a skills gap if you go directly from the funster and you might get frustrated without a middle-range board to help you progress. There are also plenty of other boards in other brands without being brand-specific.
Wave-wise, you can ride anything on a wave, and although I'm not very experienced wave-wise, I'd assume that but if you want to progress to wave-specific windsurfing then you'll be looking at a small board so will need to get your skills up before taking that leap. You'll need to waterstart fairly well, gybe/turn, and confident with balance & rig handling. In saying this, if you're committed to it, it won't take long. Good luck!
ahh, good point Sailhack. 85kgs, beginner, surfed and sailed boats for 20 years. budget?? not sure, not top of range but not old crap.

Don't get too keen to step down a size at any point, particularly from the 130 X-Cite - that board will look after you for quite a while and allow you to pick up a pile of skills...
From there I'd suggest maybe down to a 100 litre freestyle wave board. These do everything - jump, turn, wave ride, blast. Eventually you'll probably want to go to approx 85 litres, again, recommend a FSW until you become proficient / dedicated to wave sailing.
