total sickness
the level really has gone mental in the last 2 years
its the best of freestyle and wave sailing mixed into some rad action
great clip. makes me want to go sailing and crash a lot.
Brawzinho has the best style, pure and unrefined. I've found copying him is the best way to learn cause you can tell exactly what he is doing. The other guys are too subtle in their actions, they give away no hints..
"Lets party like a Horse"
Love some of the moves in there. I want to try the one a 0:44sec, might not be the most specy one but looks decent as!!
Wow, that backside reverse upwind 360 thingo looks awesome. What about the frontside off the lip backloop??????????? FFFFFFFFAAAAAARRRRRRRR OUT!
yeah, that stunt at 1.32 blows my mind. waveriding backloop thingy, landed on the same wave and keep riding.....what just happened there?
Great post R1DER
what about the pushy (or is it a backie) on the way in ... smooth as
oops, should have read the post above
I've found myself copying Brawzinho also, That move at the end where he walks across the beach...I've almost got that one sorted.
awesome, but i guess thats what super windy on shore, head high wave conditions are for, looks pretty fun actually
That backside backie was siiiickkk!!! Reminds me of watching cisco when he was younger. Agree with matt about the standard of sailing over the last couple of years, I would be happy watching those guys sail all day.
i wonder if anyone has done back to back double forward or back loops on succeeding waves in one run![]()
funny thing is - i hear lots of people here in WA complain when its onshore
but i reckon those are some of the most fun conditions you can score
Corros is super fun no matter what level you are at - yet many crew go straight past it to the NW desert - when they probably should be spending more time learning how to bottom turn and jump. But each to their own...
Mr severne was explaining to me recently that while Pozo looks very onshore the angle of the wave makes it a lot more cross shore - relative to how you bottom turn , jump and hit the lip - than it looks. Bit like the sw switch after a nw swell here in WA
Ben sent me some footage earlier this week - he's got his backside 3s sorted !
Cheeky bugger.
Sounds like the WA crew like Jigger STone, Glen Alexander , Ben , Simon Hurrey, James Hooper (Nude board guru) are all going to be flying the aussie flag there and bringing back a big bag of tricks
Small sails and windy doesnt hurt either!
great sailing that's for sure
he really is being out classed by koster thou, his power is amazing, he's the new terminator
