Looking for a 430 SDM Mast for my 6.3 KA Race. ( Can not afford a new KA mast at the moment ).
How do you choose a suitable mast from the chart.
What do the 5 square's and 3 dots represent. If the 3 dots indicated in the KA SDM are the same as another brand e.g. North SDM does that mean the North Mast suits a KA Sail or are they referring to Unifibre Masts. What if the all the dots do not line up, e.g. Severne.

I think its best to determine the bend curve of your existing mast and compare it to the KA mast which has a bend curve of 13.5% (lower % numbers are stiffer top and higher has more flex top).

hi jacko.
constant curve is what you want ..
north, ezzy, simmer, loft, gun, aero tech, goya. are all similar .to what you want ..to KA.
naish ,gaastra.severne..are hard tops ...
HOPE THIS HELPS.

^^
+1 BUT not NP as they call it "relatively constant curve"
Which is not actually constant curve in the 430 you are seeking....

Oh maybe not Goya as they are slightly flex top in wave masts.. ?

^^^ the dots show what the mast measures as. They could have used one dot, or a line. Just use the middle dot of the 3 if you wish, same result. You have a lot of CC SDM choices.

5 squares.....? Not seeing it..?
