A Panasonic Lumix DMC-FT2 cam?
Anyone tried to do this on the mast / boom?
I am interested in getting one as it makes for a better alround camera....

I have the Olympus camera shown and it's great!! I'm using it quite a bit on and off the water. The HD video is pretty amazing as far as I'm concerned (never having had a video camera).
The flymount is around 85AUD delivered. If you're keen to get one, I'll get one as well and goes halves in the freight!!
