The bottom batten has poked it's way through the end of the batten pocket right where it slots into the cam.
I thought I would get a sail maker to replace the perforated bit with something sturdy but not so bulky that it wont fit the slot in the cam.

Has anyone else had this problem? How did you fix it?

I dropped a line to Loft on their web site on the Hotline page. No response as yet but it's only been a day or so.

Quick fix we used to do was make the batten front a little bit less pointy and put flexible plastic in batten pocket (in front of the batten). For something more permanent you can get some thin leather or webbing easy enough to do if you have an awl.
