^^ agreed its not real fast, the jumps are higher than most people might do on slalom gear so he must have plenty of cash or good sponsors haha
I'd rather be on FSW gear in that scenario, just as fast, more comfy and no need to bail out on little 2-3m high jumps :)
He kinda looked out of control/struggling most of the time, the guy on the north kit seemed to be having a better time of it.hate it when they mess with the playback speed, slow, fast, slow, normal, fast. Just leave it alone
And why is anyone interested in soulful looks out the window at the brewing storm, the van porn, trip to the beach, flags flapping, rigging up...? These are experiences we can probably all replicate (ok, not all of us the van porn) as successfully as the guy in the video. Foreplay... great for sex, but for a for a windsurf video? Nah, not so much...
The guy on the North kit is Pierre Mortefon, PWA slalom champ. Probably goes alright!! ![]()
And the other guy is Pascal Toselli. Both of them are PWA slalom sailors. It doesn't look like a new clip by the gear they are on, but if they're looking only half tidy, then it's proper windy. (I think well over 30knts)
yeah, its nothing ground breaking so far as vids go. But I'd like to see the naysayers on here try to handle the same conditions on the same gear, and look half as good.

Sure, I can't sail that good, just don't waste my time with the boring build up
Smart enough to know slalom gear don't like landing big jumps.
Give them bump gear and they would be outstanding.
Good idea to bail first jump of the day, as you're not quite warmed up nor dialed in.
