So I'm in the process of cleaning up a slalom board for foiling. The deck and nose area is quite dinged with soft spots so just injecting some resin into drilled holes then a layer of glass over the deck from nose to front straps.
Rather than do a normal deck re grip with sugar I thought of using the hexatraction stick on grip.
Would save a bit of weight and has good reviews.
Thoughts?

Hey Wayne, ive used a similar product on older boards. Clear stuff like HEXA. Seemed great, good to see original graphix. Stuck down pretty well. But not so grippy for bare feet or sailboarding.
So every other board ive regripped ive used RUSTOLEUM satin clear spray can n intergrip particles. Holds up well to my 110kg n 100+ sail sessions a year. Less than $25 to complete. Easy as.

Great but pricey. Due to cost I reserve for just classic boards that I like to keep the option of returning them to original condition. If they were more affordable Id use them everywhere.

Cheers guys. Main reason I thought of it over traditional grip was the constant climbing back on after crashing and being too rough.
May put it on my surf board at least.
