Help with mast extension

Hi, still newish to the sport. Can someone advise me what setting I need to have the mast extension at?

Mast = 460
Luff = 4.73m
boom max = 1.98m
imcs range = 24-27
imcs optimum = 25
Sail size = 7m

Set it at 15 for high wind, 12.5 for light wind...tune to wind conditions.
For brand new sails, go down one notch.

Mast extension + mast length = luff length, then you can adjust downhaul +- depending on sail/conditions as Lee suggested.
In your case set your extension to 14, but when you downhaul leave the sail pulley 1 cm from the bottom of the extension. Consider also that sometimes the printed measures are not perfect and you need to look at the sail shape.
