Wondering if this event will be on in 2014 and possible dates. I know its months and months away but I need to start planning time off from work.
Assuming you mean the slalom nats? Last I heard, it's all go again somewhere around June/July? Can't wait!
OK guys ... here's some info ... more is coming soon.
Dates will be 16-20th June. At the moment we are still in the process of getting the final OK on the permits (the island is a National Park, so everything takes that bit loooooooooonger) but it's all looking good.
Format should remain as what we saw last year and will again be the Slalom Nationals. Sadly there won't be the Qantas deal this year (I blame the unions) but all airlines in AUS have a very attractive baggage policy these days and are comfortable taking windsurf gear so no dramas there.
At the moment we are still updating all the content on the website (temporary URL is here http://www.fw-australia.com/greenisland) so take anything written on there as being out of date until I say otherwise ... should be all sorted in the next few days and we will get the online registration cranking.
