Anyone have one ? Or demo'd one ? Looking for some feedback on the 2022 85 & 105L. And how they compare the fanatic freewave 85/105 .

I have a Goya one 116 and use it mostly with 5.7. Fantastic board and find I use it more than my foil lately.

I have the 2022 105 and had the 115. Fantastic boards for blasting with a good amount of waveriding capabilities.
The 115 just felt too big for my 93 kgs since it's wide and thick in the tail, like a Stubby.
The 105 is perfect sizewise. Neverthelss it's not a waveboard turningswise, quite good, but not like a dedicated waveboard.
That's why i ordered the new Goya Nitro 106.

Hi Alex. Tell us all about the Nitro when you get it. I've never seen one and know nothing about how it goes. Cheers Jens

I also am very interested in the Nitro 106. I will not put money down until I get real world data. Thanks in advance.

Yes, 2020 Goya One.
Before i owned Goya One 116 (2018), Quad 116 (2016), One 105 (2014).
No Fanatic though, only Fanatic board i owned was a 1988 Lite Bee

Still waiting for the Nitro. I did preorder it in November 2021.

But i had the chance to measure a Nitro 106 i got in my hands for a day (no water testing though).
I compared it to my 2020 One 105 and 2020 C3 98 (the shape is unchanged for the new 2022 C3 99, just new optics).
Btw. the C3 98 has quite more rocker and a shorter planing straight than his predecessor the 2018 Thruster 99, which on the other hand had thiner rails at the tail. The C3 98 also has more V. On the wave the C3 98 feels more playfull and surfy. (Magazines came to other results, but they usually test the boards in a 85 liter size, so i guess shapes differ in their sizes).

I can't remember the exact measures, but can remember them in comparison to the Nitro 106:
Tail Rocker: Like the C3 98, about double to the One 105
Planing straight: a notch more than the C3 98, about half to the One 105
Nose Rocker: About the same like the C3 98, but with a nose kick due to the short length
Rails: Thinner than the C3 and One especially on the last 30 cm of the tail, significantly domed to the center line
Volumeflow: Really thick on the centerline 14,8 cm, vs. 13.4 cm on the One and 13.2cm on the C3
Bottom: Huge V like on a Severne board, quite more than on the C3, much more than the One, Bevels on the front half, no "edge" in the transition to the rails

So quite a special shape.
