Going to Yamba this weekend

Got a four day long week end trip to Yamba this weekend. Hoping the wind prediction improves though as I really wanted to give that track that works in a North easter in the middle of the river a go. So far it looks like mediocre easterly and southerly winds

In Yamba right now. Just checked 7 day forecast. Sorry Gregob, but I think you're dreaming.

I lived in Iluka for 7 years. If the SE holds, try Iluka Bay. It's still heaps of fun

Thanks for the tip. I was wondering where the best option would be to launch from in those winds. What would be the best location on Yamba side itself for a S/E ?

Have a look on my profile there is some google earth shots off the best flat water place in a SE. There is a walkway between the houses to get to the beach.

As Locateg said, the street is called The Peninsula.
Walkway is about 50metres from the end.
