Just about to track down a Go-Pro camera and keen to mount it on one of my boards. I've seen the mounts for surfboards, but they look like they'd be useless on a textured sailiboard deck? Are they usable, or what's the best mounting system for putting one on the board deck? I plan to get a Fly Mount for the boom, but I love that low view looking back from the front off the board. I can imagine it looking pretty hectic jumping waves etc. Any info is much apreciated.

Yes I put one on the front of the board and it works. To be on the safe side I also run a bit of cord from the mast foot to the mount just in case. My only worry is if I had a catapult, so for now I've only used it with light wind

Good one, thanks Powersloshin. I'll grab some, and make up a teather of some sort. Should have the Go-Pro by Friday, amped to get some footage. Cheers.
