The Green Island Australian Slalom, Freerace & Freestyle Nationals are on again 16th - 20th June 2014. I know there's plenty of fella's going in it so ladies are you keen to get the female numbers up
I went in the Slalom & Freerace last year and can highly recommend it. Was such good fun, so professionally run, a great friendly atmosphere and you get to sail amongst coral, turtles, coconuts and beautiful warm tropical water.
You really don't need to be an expert, it's just like competing in the GPSTC but you actually get to see each other's faces
We have some really good women sailors in NSW. At burrum windfest in QLD there was 3 or 4 girls/ladies which was good I thought. There is potentially a really good women's race for the Australian title. I guess just need to ring around so everybody has time sort gear etc. Once there is 3,4or 5 girl's going it should start to snowball and then maybe more.

I'm in this year, flights now booked! Can't wait to sail on GI again, such a great location and lovely and warm location to spend a week in the middle of winter. With KA72.com as a sponsor of the event this year i'm going to be kept busy processing files with our custom Freerace software. Going to be fun and we will be able to bring you some action race replays like this

Great clip ikw77. Saw some sneak shots of the Falcon speed 50 and 44 couple weeks ago but sweet to see in the flesh, so to speak. Id gather the goggles are for the sand being blown offshore at La Franqui??
