Alex(11yrs) started on the 9'6" starboard sup last year, it was perfect as I could be on the board with him as well which saves alt of yelling and rescues. Now he's a little better he's on the 9'0" starboard which is great as it turns a little easier but beleive me is still huge as far as volume and stability. As far as value for money goes it takes the cake. When we go for our "boys weekends" out of all the toys we take the sup spends the most time in the water, paddling, sailing, or surfing.
