Hey!
I downhauled my ga air Ride 7.7 as tech spec with base 28 cm. But i dont get the flutter on the top. People on the beach say its to little. My mast is 30 cm and I downhauled to that but no flutter. Does anyone know if it should wrinkle at top between the too batten and how much in to the sail.
Tried searching on the Web but found nothing.
Tnx alot!
spec. for sails are not always right, downhaul till you get the amount of flutter you want. For my Aerotech sails on a foil, there is almost no looseness at the top of the sail.

Tnx for the answer! The problem is that im a beginner and dont know how much is the correct amound. But it seems that it is less loose leach on foil sail.
Looks like it wants moderate progressive twist but very little floppiness even at the top, assuming you've rigged it on a reasonably compatible mast. I'd worry less about the leech and start by looking for a nice smooth entry all down the luff, then be generous with outhaul tension which the GA sails seem to like:
Mine rigs pretty much to spec. I get looseness about halfway across the top panel when it's on the ground. Use an adjustable outhaul with it and you'll get a decent amount of range. I'm only about 68kg and I've had the sail out in 18-20 and can go straight from it to a 4.7.
Was disappointed in seeing the '21 being no cam as the rotation is nice and it has a fairly deep luff pocket for a rec sail.
