Ship with e-go (e-go.com.au) depot to depot. Make sure you pack well and properly attached the paper work. Should be no more then $50 to $60 for two sails plus what ever the insurance.
Alternatively find someone that's flying Sydney to Perth and get them to take the sails as checked luggage. Just make sure it's one package. That should get the job done for the cost of a six pack.
Depot to depot is cheaper and quicker. I paid extra to have sails delivered to my work and they sat in the Perth depot for four days before they were delivered to me. Make sure dimensions are accurate to avoid extra charges.
I always used e-go depot to depot as its cheaper, but recently found SmartSend was a tiny bit cheaper.... snd that was with pickup and delivery!! I was very surprised
Agree with Swindy though.... so depends if you want faster, or easier.....
These online booking mobs have realllly bad customer service if things go wrong though so photo everything well.
Also they subcontract out to others so if u r in the bush, they will guarantee pickup time and then miss it by 3 days as the stoopid online booking does not take into account that they may need to use different carriers. Learned that the hard way....
