Hey, I have really old starboard formula 162L. It's in horrible condition and I have an idea to change remove all the wood and replace it with carbon to prepare it for foiling. Also I have an idea to combine bottom cut outs from modern boards like: PATRIK FOIL COMP 85, Starboard X-15 side cut outs and Fanatic falcon foil TE nose cut outs. Do you have any suggestions?

Maybe keep it simple, fully sand with an orbital sander, repaint with 2k paint in what ever colour combo you fancy and re-grip the deck. Maybe add a foil box??
re the falcon 170 (I have one...): they're not really cut-outs as much as bevels at best, emphasized by the point job
otherwise very nice board though, I like it a lot in foil slalom mode on sails 7m and smaller
good luck with the project

no, I have an iq foil 85 board to sail and if I just redo the old one I'll have no use for it. I want to make into some sort of a slalom board to compete in local championships :)
I agree removing the wood is too hard. You will fo so much foam damage that the requires filler it will be weaker and heavier
But the wood does split etc so just sand well and give it a layer of 4oz glass over, then filler coat.
