Hey Crew! Maybe an odd question. But what is your preference with footstrap orientation?
Velcro closure facing the board rail? The side your foot enters the strap.
Or velcro closure facing the board centreline? Away from foot entry.
Any preference? Why?
orientation the side that shows the brand not upside down ! ![]()

it's all about looks !
Haha! Yeah im sure most are that way too. But isnt it easier to slam your foot in when the velcro is away from rail? Less toe catching on edges etc. Smoother entry.
Velcro to the rail . The other way let the strap catch the water and it can get un wrapped as you sail. Very annoying to fix on water
^^ i think velcro to centreline may be easier. All smooth edges???But never swapped em.. Only tried on land out of curiosity. Stood back to front to try. As Sean pointed out the labels are all wrong that way. Poor fashion.. hehe.. Gotta be able to read em whilst strapped in n facing the nose. Apparently???![]()
Kato makes sense though.
Velcro opening facing backwards / towards the rail on the front straps as Kato stated otherwise it will come open when sailing. If it doesn't come open then you are not going fast enough!
Velcro wrapping from the top of your foot to your toes, so as you kick in you don't catch it and open or part open them. So velcro to the center line away from the rail.
