Good news is that my girlfriend is moving on from her 145 lt board to a smaller one and I have a 120lt jp xcite ride which would be perfect. Bad news is my feet are huge compared to hers. Is it ok to change the footstraps often or does it ruin the screw holes?
Yes you will wreck the screw holes soooooooo GET RID OF HER![]()
There must be heaps of guys with 120 lt boards and NORMAL feet so she will get snapped up real quick.
Hello, Fletch,
I agree with Fullmoon that you do not want to remove/replace the screws on a regular basis.
In light of the lack of replies, you might try this:
The holes for a front footstrap can be numbered 1,2,3,4 and the same for a rear position footstrap (same footstrap). Normally, people put the footstarp screws in the same hole, front and rear (so front #2, rear #2).
Why don't you try offsetting the screws so that the front goes into #1 and the rear stays at #2.
This automatically gives you are wider strap width (for your big foot), but when your lady comes to use the board, she can tighten the footstraps to suit her smaller foot.
Hope this helps.
