Wow! I bet you'd get some great speeds / nm's + Hrs there! I'd love a run that long and flat..

Looks idyllic aside from the air temperature, which I am guessing is a bit cold?
No wonder the Netherlands speed teams go so fast!

It's in the south of the Netherlands, Zeeland, 1.45h drive from where I live in Belgium. The lake is "Grevelingenmeer" the spot is known as "Zonnemaire", indeed insane speeds are set here by some of the best speed sailors in the world, whom I don't have to mention here Sometimes it gets windy there!. Today it was lowwind cruising around 20kt.

I'm glad you like the footage. It was a shame I had only less then half an hour because my battery wasn't charged. Next time I'll fix that
Temp was a bit on the chilly side with 8°C thats not much but it was sunny! And inthis part of the world it is getting warmer now

There were 2 more buddies, Koen who's track got corrupt and wasn't able to post, and Geert, who is a fast free speeder who doesn't use a GPS.

Great to see this location, you dragged off the first person at the start pretty well, must be the red hot chillies music!

Thats Koen, in fact he's a far more better windsurfer than I am. He is always faster then me, have to say I first used a brand new Hurricane fin, must be that, and ofcourse the red hot chilly. From now on there will be always one in my pants!

Not at all, it is a low wall, stones just come a bit out of the water.

That’s the spirit.
Going fast because of a low battery.
