Topic was possibly discussed already thousand times, so I will be grateful if you could point to the link.

How to repaid thread in the fin ?

Standard stainless steel bolt now is coming easy of the fin so I need to repair thread if possible.

Solution coming to my mind could be :

-filling the hole with epoxy and re-drilling the hole with smaller diameter drill bit. I hope that bolt could the cut new thread by itself.
or I need to cut the new thread ? Does anybody know better way to save the fin ?

Take a nut out of an old fin and retrofit to your fin. Drill the existing bolt hole out with 1mm clearance first

Yep, if it's a barrel nut in there, just punch it out and put another one in. The only problem is they come in different diameters and with different threads, so you may have to do some adjustments. If there's no barrel nut, it's probably easier to fit one, I've tried epoxying and rethreading but it doesn't last very long, just drill the old thread out, and install new nut.
