Vague advice on website, says you have to pay just to have sports equipment... never found this with any other airline it normally takes up the standard 23kg baggage item first
any first hand experience? Flying Brisbane to Nadi with surfboard and windsurf kit

I went with extended family to Coral coast a few years ago, took no gear as I couldn't seem to convince anyone it was a good idea. Kids were still youngish.

Anyway, spoke to a guy at Nadi with a triple surf bag & he wasn't charged any extra. Assume 1 board & 2 sails? Good luck.

Yeah cool thanks man
yeah i'd Just take one surfboard, one board (jp 99 quad), 5.3 blade, mast boom etc... should fit into one bag

am staying around Nadi for a week and will get boats out to surf or windsurf hoping to sail Namotu and cloudy

Got three weeks, first week solo surfing and hopefully some sick windsurfing then two more weeks when my wife and daughter fly over

am going to stay at rendezvous surf camp anyone has any experience there? Online it looks good

If I had the $ I'd stay at Namotu for a couple of weeks - $8K+ ? Looks unreal.

Guessing Scotty O'Connor still runs the island...wonder if he still bothers to windsurf.
