Hi lads and ladettes.
Quick question, wondering if anyone can help me. Im looking at switching down in size from a 140L BIC Techno to a board around 100L. Can waterstart and attempting to learn to gybe!
Does anyone have an opinion about the Fanatic TripleX (100L) from either 04 or 05? The local Windsurfing shop has one at the right price and i was wondering if anyone had either ridden it or has an opinion on it?

Cheers

Also maybe have a look at Bazz'z Fanatic Cross 100 ('03) in the adds here. I have the 90L model from the same year, it's a great allrounder, and suspect the '04 tripleX was a very similar shaped board with new name.

I had the 05 model 105L. It was a great board for me when the wind was strong >20kts (I am 100kg) but in marginal 15-20kts it struggled a bit. It will depend on your weight i think, for me it was a medium to high wind board that didn't get on the plane that quickly. I traded to a stoke 106L and with the extra width it provides have found it much more suitable for me.

Thanks for the input guys,
ended up picking it up this arvo. Think i got a good price, it looks like a bloody awesome board anyway. Should give it a good test tomorrow. Im 75kgs so planing shouldnt hopefully be a problem.
On another note the guys at RPS were great, unbelievably helpful and keen to see me get back on the water with some smaller gear!
Cheers
