Faceplant #1 I went right through my 5.5. Sailed back with monofilm flapping in the wind.
Rigged my 4.7. Headed back out. Landed an awesome jump....right on another little wave, got bucked off, faceplant #2 did this. Saw stars.
Time to invest in a helmet I reckon. Went out today and was indecisive whether to wear mine or not. Decided to wear it and glad I did as I made a few bad judgement calls...although a cricket box would've been more suitable protection! 
Btw, I'm not posting photos of that.
Helmets help, I wear one, but they're not perfect. One of the first times I went sailing wearing a helmet, I got a black eye.
Did get me wondering whether I should get a helmet. I gave it a fair old whack and wondered if it would be possible to knock yourself out.
