Just want to say a Big Thank You for all those who have participated. Not only has this been a very interesting social exercise, and as I am about to present, the data themselves have also shown some very interesting insights about the profile of who we are as a group.
As this is just a simple survey, there will always be "gaps" and "incompleteness" about what the data shows, so we will just need to accept that this is what it is. What it shows, however, is a "flavour" about who we are as a community on this Seabreeze Forum.
Overall, there were 314 responses!! Generally the data quality was high. There were some minor anomalies with the responses to one of the questions below (you will see what I mean later......), but these affected only a minority of responses. And for some reason, only the Boys seem to have got it wrong. I have also noticed that there were some respondents who had responded more than once, with one particular individual responded 6 times. But I am only going to assume that he is probably responding on behalf of other people that he knows ought to have responded but who couldn't (so thank you), and that there might be other respondents who "Do Both" windsurfing and kitesurfing (so they entered twice to give two points of view). Overall these accounted to a small number. One spooky thing I noticed was that there were EXACTLY 157 responses each from the Kitesurfers and Windsurfers!!! What are the chances of that?? ![]()

Unfortunately, the only way I can show you the complete story is by putting these into very boring looking tables - but I think they should be fairly self explanatory and I think tells a more compelling story. I will let you do the % yourself. I have left the data as raw numbers only so you get a real sense of the number of you out there.
Most of these are separated into Kitesurfer vs Windsurfers and Boys vs Girls. You will see what I mean.
Anyway....here they are. Enjoy your weekend!
Nice work PP
Good to see some data that's been provided by the people on the actual water and consumer front.
Interesting the "switch" statistics.
