Hi
I am looking for high wind/choppy conditions board and I realy like f2 axxis 267. Does anyone have any experience? How fast is it compared to newer boards? How does it jibe?
Had two of these from new back in I'm gonna guess 1999 super fast board freeride bump and jump rocker single fin so gybes like an old single fin. I snapped one I remember but it got replaced on warranty then I snapped that one too. Haha
They fly! Found this pic the other day actually. old north sails syncro powering this run at Lake Cootharaba Pre getting into wavesailing

Comparing it to new boards especially multi fin wave boards is like comparing a penny farthing with a new full suspension mountain bike

I rode an Axxis 278 (103L) for 3 seasons. But broke it recently
The deck got delaminated, so decide to retire this board. It is not as fast as modern slalom boards, but speed is ok, gybes super smooth. I find it's length is good for gybing, as you have more room to step forward in a step gybe
I use 8m sail (38 race fin) up to 5m (29 swept back) in a force 6
Planes up easily and smooth
FYI I weigh 66kg
