That was manu, many years ago. I think the current ones are made in italy.
...just checked a new 340 top i have in the shop, the plastic bag it is sealed in contains safety warnings and recycle info in Italian.

Bonus question: does anyone know where the current chinook pro wave booms are made?

Chinook booms - same country, different factory . The tubing is actually black pasta it seems

ezzy masts are still indestructible even with the change, that Italian factory makes most masts and for a long while you could pick a 'good no-name brand' sort of mast by the barcode on it being same as all the ones that were heaps more pricey.

They texted me back and told me they are actually made in Europe but didn't specify the country

They used to be made by Nolimitz in the US, I believe they're made in the Czech republic.
