Heading to uk start of May for couple of weeks. While there thinking of nipping over to canaries or North Africa for windsurfing, surfing for 5 days. Ideally at a centre which does hire and accommodation suitable for single traveller. Was looking for a coaching clinic but can't find anything on that time if year.
Any suggestions for location and centre that's is just easy to deal with. Ideally waves but not end of world if flat for freestyle.
Pozowinds (Pozo Izquierdo, Gran Canaria) are great to deal with, should be good winds there at that time of the year too.
El Medano/Cabezo 5 hire spots on beach, loads accomodation,nightlife, all in 1km waves and freeride, cheap flights from uk.
El Medano is right next to Tenerife South airport as well, cheap and fast transfer. Freeride blasting in north or south bay, or waves at El Cabezo or in front of the harbour wall.
I've found the duotone centre at El M?dano an absolute pleasure to hire kit from. They were so helpful and really quick / keen to change sails and boards for me nothing was a problem . I've had some great family holidays there and it's definitely one of my favourite get aways from the winter in the uk.
I ended up in el medano based on above recommendation and with hire from TWS.
Lovely village. Fantastic rental at tws, so many options and friendly service.
Sadly conditions were light and lacking in decent swell, but that's windsurfing.

Other result is of lighter conditions was how amazing modern large freewave boards are. Was using goya one in 105 & 115 sizes and I'm 78kg. Felt as agile and fun as my light days 95l wave board, but with more flow & ease in the condition. Made swell and shore break fun.
Porto Pollo Sardinia? I'm over there next year, was wondering about that place. It looks nice.
