With the hot days in Perth this last week Esperance was the place to be, here's some images from this last week. More images here www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.523612547668978.120236.299496563413912&type=1

sorry to resurrect older topic but seemed like a logical thing to do.

we are heading to esperance for few days this coming xmass/new year and plan to take the gear with me.

I'm probably intermediate level, can gybe and sail in the ocean, mostly I sail in Safety Bay, shoalwater /penguin island. not a wave sailor

Just wanted to check if there are similar spots in esperance before I invest in new roof racks. Have a soft roader so it should be easily accessible.

Also any beginners spots down there for the GF to improve her kiting skills?

I was in Esperance windsurfing a few years ago now. From what I recollect the town centre is next to a big bay. Windsurfing there is basically open bay sailing so its a bit choppy but however no head high waves and big shore break. So take your windsurfing gear with you. I think probably in the morning before the wind picks up it would be okay for a beginner but I'm not 100% sure about that.
