I've had a sail waiting to be picked up door-to-door with e-go for over two weeks now. I've tried to contact them 4 times now via their web portal but haven't heard a word back. Has anyone else had issued with them? I've previously gone either depot to depot or depot to door and not had any issues with them but the door to door service has been quite shocking. Just feels like I've paid my money, my shipment has disappeared into a black hole and there's no way to get in touch with them now.
Any tips from anyone who's had similar experience with them?

A few years ago, the said mentioned Sydney depot tried to deliver a package to an Adelaide address (in Sydney) about 10 times. This is a general rule of thumb in the business world I think: If you walk into a business and the employees have an attitude and the place looks like a rubbish tip, then there is a good chance you will receive poor service. This is the case for Hunter Express in Adelaide (both their old and new depots).
For depot to depot, I use E-go and have no issues over the last 7 years of buying and selling.
For door to door, I use Smart Send and also have had no issues over the last 7 years
Used e-Go two months ago - door to door and had no issues (except did come one day later than than texted they would). I have no idea how you contact them.
Two weeks is very long - could it be your wayslip printed - but it di not register on their side. Has your credit card been charged for the fee of courier?
Yea, I have been where you are, cleverku. I've used them 10 times without problems but three times with problems. Find out where your local depot is and turn up at their door. I did that four times before I got my package. In fairness, all freight companies are just getting smashed at the moment. Even the reputable ones. E-GO is definitely not in this category. They have minimal customer service to speak of and, if you are lucky, you will get a cut and pasted generic response to any email inquiry. For anyone shipping something you really give a damn about I recommend paying a bit more for freight with some decent tracking and accountability.
I had a mast send from Adelaide to newcastle a few weeks ago by E go, picked up from the sellers door and delivered to newy depot. No problems and fairly decent transit time about 5 days BUT, received a very un-professional phone call to let me know my package had arrived and ready for pick up from depot. When I arrived I was surprised by the look of the place, the phone call set the scene. It was a dodgy looking small industrial shed in an equally dodgy looking run down complex in a back street in cardiff with a shiny new "Hunter express" sign over the door, when I walked in I saw there was no storage racking or order to the place whatsoever just boxes stacked everywhere and 3 people who were obviously a family running the place. Was greeted by Mum and shown where my package was while Dad was sitting on a box on the floor eating his macca's for lunch and 8-10 year old son also eating his macca's while sitting on the forklift, It looked like he was the driver to me, hence the mast was delivered in a timely manner undamaged so I can't complain. Only cost me $60 any other courier would be at least double that.
Thanks all. My package finally got picked up yesterday just after I wrote this post. Overall not a pleasant experience with the long delay and total lack of communication to blame.
I checked out SmartSend as suggested by John340 and did a comparison on price. SmartSend were actually five bucks cheaper so will definitely give them a go next time instead of e-go.
My E-Go freight experiences continue to be faultless. Recently sold a board to a guy in Melbourne. So, shipped from freight depot in Mackay Nth QLD to depot Melbourne CBD. Purchaser acknowledged receipt of board in excellent condition. But, I do go to a lot of trouble when packing to help ensure the goods don't get damaged. Oh, and don't bull**** the dimensions otherwise you might get a nasty surprise on your credit card statement. $138 for this freight. Surely you can't complain about that.
