Rocks and shells on the beach . Something on feet is a must. I use scuba wetsuit boots/socks. 40 years old - surprised they haven't ripped. Real rubber on the soles. Good traction on the board. They are tight and a bugger to get on though I haven't pulled a muscle yet . I wonder if dish detergent on my heel would make it easier . Yes it does ! . New Sailworks Flyer 5.2 with 2 cams. Difficult to pop.
Dish detergent on the mast /cam ..... so much easier to rotate.

Love the stream of consciousness.

This works well on masts/cams, but if your Flyer doesn't rotate smoothly you may want to look at the Cam shims, which may not be set right, or at whether the mast is too stiff.

I was told by a sail manufacturer to not use soap on the sail because it will weaken the glue that is used to hold the sail together, along with the stitching of course!
