Damned different fins!

Words can't express how astonished I am right now regarding fin types! I have just bought an Exocet Manga 259 (2001) and I was all psyched up to use one of my wide range of power box fins within it! Only to find that.........it ain't bleeding powerbox, a powerbox fin won't fit as it is too long and too thin, meanwhile it isn't US box as the fin can't move forwards and backwards, it isn't tuttlebox as it only has one bolt and it isn't trimbox either (as I had one of those on my BIC Vivace back in 1995). Meanwhile the bolt hole is considerably wider than the standard bolt used on powerbox fins. Anyway I will do some research and start poking around the internet for a solution.......failing that a trip to the windsurfing shop may be in order! The board has a 21cm fin, but I was planning on using something a little bigger! Thank you in advance to anyone that can offer advice!

US box according to the brochure. Has someone added something different?

Hi there, it is definitely not US box, I will upload a photo shortly. The powerbox fin is the one on the left hand side, the new imposter is the one on the right.

Well, that is different.

Looks like the fin on the right a Select multiconic adapter fitting which fits into their adapter. Select still do those, but not for that old adaptor you have, just PB, Tuttle and Trim.

Looks like they have finally given up on producing that fin fitting, the Progression was the last one.

That seems correct.
Not sure what the box in the board is but another fin with a multiconic-base should do the trick then.

Thanks for that Phil, I thought that I was missing something obvious. For some reason I always thought that Tuttle fins used two screws. Thanks once again for the hyperlinks.

Thanks again.
