Just wondering if anyone has any damaged sails lying around that I could buy cheap as I'm looking to learn to do some sail repairs.

I have one, but it's a long way to Victoria, and it would be a challenge, the sail has split inside the luff sleeve just below the boom

I had a 9.5 raceboard sail that blew out the window and ripped clew apart. . Just jumped into it, nothing to lose right. It worked out really well still using that sail now.

I also ripped a 4mtr length of suncover off my boats genoa. 8k for a new sail, it was getting pretty old so not worth paying to get it fixed so gave it a go as well. Sail is still on the boat and working well.

So just jump in a give it a crack is my tip. I bought a sailmate machine that has paid for itself many times over already

What sail is it as I could replace the luff sleeve most likely. Where are you located though as it might not be worth it with shipping costs or fuel costs
