Ones I've had just knock out with a bit of friendly persuasion. In fact I had one come loose all by itself and sit at the wrong angle making it hard to get the rope through. where to get a replacement may be your biggest headache
A bit of hack, but could you just get some new rope and tie a bigger knot so it doesn't pull through and set it to the correct length? If you can't get a new cleat.
will this fit a np boom (2008-11) deisgn?
Thanks so much for everyones replies

It looks like the same cleat. I have bought a couple new NP levers for $12 AUS each.
I looked at the site and wanted to order 3 cleats from above address, which was only a couple dollars then realized they wanted 22 odd pounds postage?????
Those cleats don't last long and slip using Formuline , (six months max), so I use normal rope for the boom clamp and keep a good eye on it, replacing when starting to look dodgy. I get a year out of it this way.

6 months out of a boom cleat? Surely not, the postage seems a tad much, but the techno ones last for years and years even without washing them (they are np last time I checked? Could be wrong)
what rope do you use for your cleat?
I don't ever use formulate I use a single braided rope.
thanks ps would a np lever fit on a boom of that vintage?

Only $10 for a Neil Pryde boom, I fitted my NP booms with Chinook boom levers.
Although the NP cleats are crap they last a lot longer if you release the rope and wash the cleat with fresh water after use

See here's the thing , I'm too lazy to do that , I just replace the $12 lever every year . I got 3 spare for just that occasion.
don't fix .. buy a new boom and stay safe on the water
I think that's a bit far? It's a completely fine carbon boom just the cleat head doesn't work
