Ok boys

You've been supping around hanging effluent on anybody who doesn't do what you do (wavesail) saying that we're all a bunch of Gaylords.

Fair enough, I reckon, I can handle the criticism, but can you guys??

You've talked the talk but can you walk the walk

I post a challenge to our northern Queen and Princess of SUP.

I'm pretty certain we should be able to provide a few members from the Faggy Daggy Mandurah mob to take on the SUPermen.

Here it is girls take us on if you dare

You guys Nominate a surf break in the metro area on a day which we can get leave pass's and not sunday for Greeny so it will have to be a sat.

Stage 1
We'll turn up with our wave gear and go wave riding with you to show we can.

Stage 2
Some of us may bring up some go faster gear, which if we can ride it out there, the open water masters (you lot) should be able to breeze riding

Stage 3
You come down to Hardies with your kit and try to crack a 31 knots

Stage 4
Then I'll put you on my Speed kit, it's good for 39 knots and because you guys are the all conquering watermen and flat waters for pussies you should be able to piss in 31knots

So there you go lads, time to put your money where your mouth is

How about a section for those flat water fairys who keep posting Train or Shearwater threads?

I work of the principle that as Aussies if we like you we'll insult you, if we don't like you we'll be polite.

Greenroom must really like "flat water" people then, hey Elmo.

Great idea Elmo, but I couldn't think of anything more boring than wasting my time wavesailing

I know you can do it Boardshorts

Hands free with a forward roll

good challenge, maybe you could put in place some sort of scoring systm to see who comes out on top, flat water dragsters or the wave pigs!

It would be like the inter-code football comps they used too have. What do you reckon?

Tricky bit would be coming up with a good scoring system between the 2 disciplines.

At the moment I'd be happy with a reply

They seem very conspicuous in their silence although they are posting elsewhere

C'mon Wave-pigs (thanks Boardboy) you masters of the water world.

I'm sure I vaguely remember how to rig a wave sail

OK scoring:

A "Success" in the waves would be one of the following:
1) Forward loop (sail away)
2) Back loop (sail away)
3) 3 cutbacks on the one wave

A "Success" on flat water would be one of the following:
1) Beat 31 knots on the GPS dial
2) Beat 28 knots nautical mile
3) Beat a 22 knot Alpha

The team with the most "successes" (percentage of team members who achieved it) wins.

Sound fair?

Them's nice balls

I do stand corrected and note that it's only Greeny who's been doing the main baiting.

I also don't speedsail to be in competitive (apart from with Hardie) I chase my own PB's

I'll leave the SUP'ing for the real men, I'll stick to my Lid

You can't they've both got smiles on their faces

I'd be up for it ..... dont know about the forward and back loops but the rest sounds ok.

Cracked 30.(something) on wave kit the other day ... and it was nowhere near 30knt winds.

This would be a good time for me to apologise as I've only inflamed the situation, so sorry to both Greenroom and Elmo.
It was later at night here when I posted that. I should be more careful when I post later at night.

Stribo I stayed quiet cos I love wavesailing and it is waaay better then speed.
I didn't want to add to the arguments cos I love you all, and didn't want to make you all feel inadequate: I did 36kn on the river in 1992.

Furry muff.

BUT it WAS bumpy, honest.

No but seriously I always thought going back n forth was boring but recently I took out a Carve123 (not a speed board I know) in a bit of wind and it was fun.

Given enough $$$ I would probably buy some "middle of the wind range" speed gear I reckon.

I would like to try the GPS when on wave gear too as it feels fast sometimes and I'd be interested to know how slow it really is

Looks like Ive upset the puppet Is this for real? Sorry Elmo Seriously
Im also the non competitive type. Just like Mark said I love wavesailing and its better than speed.
Im up for a wave sesh together anytime! Scabs sounds the go! Lets tear that place apart! Im sure you cant wait to smack some lips. But then again you are a booger
But as for the speed thing I wouldnt want to waist your time. I couldnt think of anything more boring than going fast Imagine all the waves breaking without me on them I dont know if I could go through with it. I couldnt do it sorry. My balls are smaller than yours

Not just the puppet, people were wondering if you are a f%^&$ troll, or just a f&^%$ wit!

You used to be quite funny, but lately you've just got boring.

There's only so much denigration most people will tolerate, and you've been dishing it out by the bucket load, even young Jordo has copped a serve from you.

You may think you're being light hearted and amusing, but it's gone beyond that.
