Hello all. I've been reading posts on this site for years (very helpful), but I've Got a specific question I'm hoping Someone can answer. Ive got an Exocet RS 6.5 and RS4 that Im doing some "Board Lady" type ding repairs to. When finished, I'm thinking of having them both Professionally Clear coated. I'm hoping to add a little more of a protective layer around the rails, and dont mind a little extra weight. Does anyone know what Exocet uses for their clear coat? Urethane, Poly, Acrylic or epoxy? I'd guess matching the type would be best, but ultimately I want a clear protective coat that will last.
Thanks in advance for any help or advice

For rails do what SUP guys do and use a 3M tape product designed for helicopter blades.

Good suggestion - Where do you buy 3m product and what is it called?

They just call it helicopter tape. But if you look for SUP rail tape you will find it.
