Any tips for cleaning rust off sails that wont damage them?
I bought a second hand race sail in good nick that has some light rust on a batten pocket and i'd like to clean it up. Is there anything that can be used that wont eat the material away or further discolour it?

Cheers

Madd

Thanks Sean. I'll give it a try. I have a lemon tree out the back doing nothing. :)

Dear Madlad,
You can't clean rust. Because material is dacron. If you want to try something use shampoo. If you use chemicals you demage the material. In my opinion don't do anything. Bye..
