With Australia's top speedsailors competing in the Challenge you'll notice in the individual rankings that Decrepit at nearly 63, is in the top 10 in two disciplines, was 3 top ten's a month ago.

Decrepit is an unbelievably good windsurfer, in the waves he slashes, and been doing that for 2 decades plus, Speedsailing is a complete novelty for him, this year is his first ever. And he has 2 top ten rankings along side legends of speed such as Slowboat and Vando, Sailquik et al.........

I was suprised how much he speedsailed at corro's too, but more annoyed when he was going passed me

yep he sure is one out of the box, and doesn't mind helping out boofs like me if we need help. Shhhhh don't say it too loud, he will go all shy on us.

Just getting back to the sunset c,park.
I was up there a cupla years ago and it was shady and plenty windsurfers having a good time...
Last week i went up there and found it very different 25 bucks a nightunfriendly staffall the trees where pruned to stumps the place was a dust bowlThe ammenities where sub-standard (rundown and the showers where a tricle) oh and did i mention unfriendy staff I went to the spot with a local i know up there and when i used my boom gate card to unload the gear the parky dude abused the hell outa me ...what an a-hole.
Anyway i will never stay there again and would not recommend it to anyone.
Next time its corros then a hotel for a night of luxury before the drive back to perth

Sure glad we didn't stay there this year then!!!!! Sounds like it's really gone off.
When we first started going there about 10 years ago it was very windsurfer friendly. They had a container, in the parking area near the beach access, where regular customers could store there gear between yearly visits. It's slowly gone downhill since with successive managers.
