Yes, new log in - time for a change!
Well, it's just 4 weeks to go before the Cervantes Speed event and it's time for the people who are taking part in the helicopter photoshoot to start sending in their entry fees. There's about 20 spots left so get in quick if you haven't entered yet.
We've got our new super smooth gyro stabiliser now so all's looking good not only for some great photos but a pretty cool movie as well.

I had a great week at Gnaraloo recently and decided it was time for change -also HF is Helifotos, my new website (soon?).

We've got some exciting plans for some wavesailing photos so will contact you when the time gets closer as it will be seperate to the Speed event. The photoshoot is $95 for the speed event but we haven't finalised the waves yet.

Almost a week to go, everything is organised so at this stage we're just waiting for the long range forecast before making the final commitment. If the forecast is promising we will ask that everyone get's their form in and pays before Thursday the 18th, we have about 70 people pre -registered at this stage but it looks like most are like us and waiting to see a forecast before committing.

Also, we have decided to head up to Geraldton on the Sunday after the mini-marathon and will spend late Sunday and Monday doing some filming at wavesailing spots in and around Geraldton including Corros so if anyone wants to get some wave photos up there they're more than welcome to turn up.

Update: I spoke to Reg yesterday and there's still a group going up but with the current poor forecast it is highly unlikely that we will be heading up with the heli, though we won't make the final call to Friday afternoon.
However, we will still be heading up to Cervantes and Geraldton next week when the forecast looks better so if the people who paid the photoshoot fee can make it next week we can do the photos then, otherwise you will be receiving a full refund.
